Dr. Armstrong, DVM
Dr. Armstrong's Bio
Dr. Jill Armstrong grew up in Cushing, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She started her career in Amery, where she worked as an associate veterinarian for a few years before moving to St. Croix Falls. She joined Northwest Wisconsin Veterinary Servicess in 2000. Dr. Armstrong’s veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, early spay and neuters, and preventative medicine. Dr. Armstrong lives near Amery on a beef farm with her husband, 2 children, 3 cats, 2 dogs, beef cattle, and chickens. In her spare time, Dr. Armstrong enjoys photography and wildlife viewing. Her love of wildlife is what prompted the early spay and neuter programs to help reduce the number of feral cats. During her career, she has spayed and neutered over 75000 cats and dogs! She has planted a pollinator garden and does everything organically to help the bee population and improve Monarch butterflies’ habitat.
