Dr. Armstrong, DVM

Veterinarian
Dr. Armstrong's Bio

Dr. Jill Armstrong grew up in Cushing, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She started her career in Amery, where she worked as an associate veterinarian for a few years before moving to St. Croix Falls. She joined Northwest Wisconsin Veterinary Servicess in 2000. Dr. Armstrong’s veterinary interests include soft tissue surgery, early spay and neuters, and preventative medicine. Dr. Armstrong lives near Amery on a beef farm with her husband, 2 children, 3 cats, 2 dogs, beef cattle, and chickens. In her spare time, Dr. Armstrong enjoys photography and wildlife viewing. Her love of wildlife is what prompted the early spay and neuter programs to help reduce the number of feral cats. During her career, she has spayed and neutered over 75000 cats and dogs! She has planted a pollinator garden and does everything organically to help the bee population and improve Monarch butterflies’ habitat.

Dr. Bohn, DVM

Veterinarian
Dr. Bohn's Bio

Dr. Jeff Bohn grew up in Neshkoro, Wisconsin, and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. He began his career as a dairy and beef cattle veterinarian and specialized in reproduction and embryo transfer. Dr. Bohn retired from large animal medicine in 2015 and transitioned over to companion animal medicine. His current interest is radiology and preventative medicine. Dr. Bohn runs a beef and grain farm in Cushing and Amery. He recently developed an elderberry plantation with the help of his family. Dr. Bohns’ wife is Dr. Jill Armstrong; the children are Joshua and Joseph, who also work at Northwest Wisconsin Veterinary Servicess.

Britta

Britta's Bio
Britta was born and raised out in the country of Fox Creek, WI. She graduated High School at Unity in Balsam Lake in 2009. She joined the Northwest Wisconsin Vet team in 2019. She has always had a passion for animals and grew up on a farm. She currently has 6 dogs, 8 cats, 4 horses, cows, goats, rabbits, chickens, and ducks. Some of her hobbies include; horseback riding, hunting, fishing, camping, kayaking, and scrapbooking.

Annamari

Customer Service Representative
Annamari's Bio
Annamari started working as a Customer Service Representative in December of 2020. Anna grew up in New Richmond, WI, graduated from New Richmond High School in 2014, and then went on to school at Rio Grooming, where she received dog grooming certification. Anna has a past of working in doggy daycares, rescues, grooming, and other veterinary clinic settings. She shares her home with her husband, Aaron. They have a Red tick Coonhound Mix – “RemingtonLynn” and a Tabby cat – “Gomez.” Her hobbies include spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, reading, spending time with friends and family, and assisting the St. Croix County Fair with their Fairest Program and Beef Cattle Show.

Chrissy

Customer Service Representative
Chrissy's Bio
Chrissy grew up in the country outside of Deer Park, WI, and graduated from Amery High School in 2006. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in Marketing Communications and Business Administration. She started working as a Customer Service Representative at Northwest Wisconsin Veterinary in October of 2020. Growing up, her family always had cats and dogs. She lives in Amery with her partner Brandon, their 3 children, and 2 cats, Lola and Tubbers. She enjoys crocheting, reading, traveling, kayaking, fishing, camping, 4-wheeling, and snowmobiling in her spare time.

Josh

Assistant
Josh's Bio
Joshua Bohn is a college student at Luther College, Iowa. He works as an assistant during his breaks from college. His interests are reading, hunting and photography. He is planning on a major in history education.

Henry

Assistant
Henry's Bio
Henry Budke is a college student in Michigan. He works as an assistant during his college breaks. His interests are cars and small engines.

Joseph

Assistant
Joseph's Bio
Joseph Bohn graduated from high school in 2021. He works as an assistant. His interests are hockey and soccer. He plans to attend Florida Atlantic University with a major in accounting.
